Homophone Cards

Explore different spelling patterns with words that make the same sound but have different letters. Each card in this 69 card set contains images on the front and decoding cues on the back, covering the most common homophone patterns. 

Each card is double-sided, with homophone words and images on one-side, and an analysis of homophone spellings and sounds on the reverse. Children can see how different graphemes can make the same sound, but change the meaning of the word. 

The outside borders are colour-coded in accordance with Phase 5.5 of our phonics progression. Cards also integrate with the lessons in the Teacher Planners at the different year levels.
